About Kahcozi

What we are

Kahcozi is a small, owner‑operated software studio. The company exists to design, build, publish, and maintain applications for iPhone and iPad — its own products as well as work built for others.

Being small is the point rather than a stage to grow out of. It means the person who answers a support email is the person who wrote the code, decisions do not travel through three layers before reaching the product, and the company can commit to maintaining what it ships instead of moving on from it.

How we build

Every project starts with the smallest honest version of the idea: what the app has to do on day one for someone to find it worth opening twice. From there the work runs in short cycles — design, build, test on real devices, revise — with a working build available throughout rather than a reveal at the end.

Technically, that means Swift and SwiftUI against current Apple SDKs, the system's own components wherever they exist, and a deliberate reluctance to add dependencies. Fewer moving parts means fewer things that break when iOS changes in September.

Standards we hold to

• App Store Review Guidelines. Compliance is designed in from the beginning — data collection, account deletion, subscription disclosure, and age rating are settled before a build is submitted, not patched after a rejection.
• Truthful privacy labels. What the App Store listing declares matches what the binary does. If an app does not collect something, it does not ask for it.
• Data minimisation. Data that is never collected cannot be leaked, subpoenaed, or sold. Where a feature can work on‑device, it works on‑device.
• Accessibility. An app that fails VoiceOver or breaks at large text sizes is not finished, regardless of how it looks in a screenshot.
• Support you can actually reach. A published address, a stated response window, and a human at the other end.
